CONGRATULATIONS TO MS. DAVIDSON-BAGLIO'S CLASS FOR SAVING THE EARTH WITH DIRT! (click here to read P.S. 333's winning list).

WNYC's NEW YORK KIDS recently invited 18,000 teachers and their students to enter the "SAVE THE EARTH WITH DIRT" contest.

THE CONTEST: NEW YORK KIDS asked classes to make a list of how many ways they could save the earth. The lists included ways students could save the earth together (organize a bake sale for an environmental organization), or as individuals (recycle soda cans). Classes had to list ideas they ARE DOING or WILL DO. All entries were judged by the Dirtmeister. The class with the longest and most achievable list WON!
